Background. In article one of the innovation ways of development of transport – the organization of piggyback transportations in the Russian Federation is considered. At the same time now the Russian transport system is characterized by insufficiently high quality of rendering transport services. The attention to need of regulation of quality requirements of piggyback transportations and development of a technique of ensuring compliance with these regulations is focused.
